Designer Eyeglasses With Patented Lenses

Although people seem to focus on the most popular designer eyeglasses brand, there are a number of upcoming brands that are beginning to gain traction.

There seems to be a number of reasons for this. First, people are able to share over the internet quicker than ever before, so smaller brands are able to reduce some of the competitive advantages that larger designer eyeglasses brands have.

One designer eyeglasses brand that we particularly like company is called Kaenon, and it was founded less than 10 years ago. The company, who’s name was derived from a Polynesian word, was founded by two brothers, Steve and Darren Rosenberg. While starting the company they developed a polarized lens that they patented.

Designer Eyeglasses

The designer eyeglasses company has done a great job in its short existence. It continues to establish its brand as a leader in premium eyewear. To do this the company utilizes the best materials and technology combined with design, artistry and engineering technique. Make sure to keep your eye out for this line.

The company, which is now known for its performance-oriented sunglasses, launched its first eyeglasses frames collection. Designed in California and manufactured in Italy, the new line consists of two four-base and two six-base styles.

With the designer eyeglasses industry, it seems like we are seeing more and more patented eyewear every week. The company seems to have done a great job of expanding it’s product offering. For loyal customers, the brand now provides lightweight, functional designs. We hope you stay tuned for more on the designer eyeglasses industry.

Designer Eyeglasses From Daas

Are you considering purchasing a new pair of designer eyeglasses? If so, here is a pair of eyeglasses that you should keep your eye out on.

What is great about this designer eyeglasses collection is that is has already gathered a following from the stars. There are not many collections that can say this. The line is from Alexander Daas, who is seen as a rising star in the eyewear world. Already celebrities such as Jenny McCarthy and Sammy Hagar have been seen wearing the eyewear.

Daas Designer Eyeglasses

One of the reasons why we enjoy this designer eyeglasses collection is because we find it’s background so fascinating. The breakout line Alexander Daas was first started by stylist Alex Feldman. After having had over a decade of experience, Feldman found himself frequently changing frames to craft a superior look and fit for his clients. All of those changes that were made led to the birth of the line.

Even today, the founder admits he would have never had this type of success. Feldman focuses his designs on aesthetically pleasing functionality that combines effortless chic and glamour.

The designer eyeglasses collection showcases some other great features. The decorative of the eyewear chain, which features a signature pendant on which the eyewear can be suspended. Simple hexagonal cutouts at the temple tips reference the company’s signature style but also serve as a connection for attaching the chain.

This is not all that we enjoy about the designer eyeglasses collections. One part we like about this line is that Alexander Daas will be donating a portion of sales from its retail partners to a charity of the company’s choice. We hope you stay tuned for more on upcoming designer eyeglasses.

Asian Designer Eyeglasses

Have you heard about the luxury designer eyeglasses brand from China? It seems to be making headways throughout Europe and the US.

China, which is known for it’s lower costs and goods, seems to be lengthening its ambitions. American designer eyeglasses brands may need to watch out for this upcoming competitor.

Mondottica LLC recently launched Shanghai Tang Eyewear in the United States and Canada. Considered to be the first luxury fashion brand from China, Shanghai Tang product marketing is focused on bringing the mystique of Chinese culture to the West.

Designer Eyeglasses

This is not a company that people should take likely. Since its inception close to 20 years ago, Shanghai Tang has evolved from a small tailoring boutique into a comprehensive business supporting an international network of 25 boutiques in the world’s most prestigious shopping districts.

The company’s verticals go beyond just designer eyeglasses. Products range from shoes, handbags, fine leather accessories, scarves and gift items to bespoke gowns and suits, and home furnishings.

The designer eyeglasses collection is aimed towards affluent, fashion-conscious men and women between the ages of 20 and 50. Additionally, the eyewear collection includes 30 round eyeglasses frames and 40 sun styles. There are also motifcs in the collection, including the cloud, jade, the Shanghai skyline, shou, the number eight, and coins. These classic symbols are juxtaposed with contemporary design, which is the heart of the Shanghai Tang design philosophy. Make sure to keep your eyes out for this designer eyeglasses collection. We may be witnessing a new trend in the eyewear industry.

Safilo USA Designer Eyeglasses

If you have not heard of Safilo designer eyeglasses, then you are in for a surprise. The company has quickly grown into a strong player in the competitive eyewear industry.

This past week we heard about a new launch from the company. Sàfilo USA had launched the Sàfilo Glamour Collection, which is targeted to contemporary women who appreciate fine jewelry details, but at more moderate prices.

Prior lines from Safilo have sold remarkably well. We believe the reason is that the market they are targeting is large. Not every person can afford the most expensive lines such as Gucci eyeglasses.

Safilo Designer Eyeglasses

The initial designer eyeglasses collection from Safilo includes seven ophthalmic and five sun styles. Frames are named for glamorous Hollywood leading ladies and are accented with Swarovski crystals. We love the creative idea for the naming of the round eyeglasses frames. We have not seen another eyewear brand take a similar strategy.

The Sàfilo Glamour sunwear collection was first started in Italy in 2005 and was followed by a second designer eyeglasses collection in 2006. It is remarkable to think about the short duration that the company has been in existing. The Italian collection offers different styling then the U.S. collection but is marketed under the same name and brand logo.

All of the designer eyeglasses frames can accommodate progressive lenses and are available in soft oval and muffin shapes. Sunglasses are variations of modified and softened rectangles. Frames are offered in a range of hues, including black or pearl gray, and coffee or chocolate brown.

Simply Sophisticated Designer Eyeglasses

Here is a collection of “simple sophisticated” eyewear that you need to take a look at. The designer eyeglasses line highlighted is from Fabien Baron, who is a renowned creative director and designer.

Well regarded designer eyeglasses brand Modo has announced that it will be introducing Fabien Baron Eyewear. With a modern look, and bold simplicity and sophistication, the designer eyeglasses collection consists of 14 sunglasses, all hand-crafted in Japan from block acetate or block titanium.

Designer Eyeglasses

There are not many designer eyeglasses collections we have seen with such attention to detail. Colors range from black, dark red, pine, green, acorn, dark tortoise, havana, and milky gray in the acetates to gold and silver.

Designer Fabien Baron is very well regarded in the fashion world. As one of fashion’s most respected creative forces for decades and the founder and creative director of Baron & Baron, Fabien Baron has designed everything from magazine layouts to perfume bottles. We are expecting his designer eyeglasses to be a great hit as well.

According to the designer, sunglasses have always been interesting to him. He thought it would be a challenge to create this new collection. We believe much of the challenges he will face will come from other brands such as Gucci eyeglasses, which have a considerably amount of resources. However, from what we have seen from pictures, the new collection looks great. If you are interested in the collection, the designer eyeglasses collection will be planning a nationwide rollout later this month.

Designer Eyeglasses For Men

We have heard some great news about Hickey Freeman designer eyeglasses. The company seems to be following on the trails of some popular fashion brands by entering into the designer eyeglasses industry.

This is a company you have probably heard of. Hickey Freeman has been designing and manufacturing quality tailored clothing in America since before the 1900’s. Like many other top fashion brands, the company is headquartered in New York, and it is also part of the HMX Group.

Designer Eyeglasses

The brand seems to have ambitions far beyond its heritage as a designer of fine suiting. It appears that the company is evolving into a contemporary lifestyle brand, Hickey Freeman has expanded into designer eyeglasses, launching a masculine line available from Signature Eyewear.

We had heard rumors about this round eyeglasses line for some time, and are glad to see something come into fruition. Targeted to men who appreciate fine craftsmanship, the eyewear consists of 16 designer eyeglasses frames and three readers. Included are handmade acetates, metals and combination metal styles with intricately tooled.

From what we have seen of the designer eyeglasses line, we are expecting this to sell very well. Even the company made sure to highlight the new line in the recent press release. The business is looking forward to growing the collection with their direction and contemporary influence on men’s eyewear.

The designer eyeglasses collection is expected to be available in nearby eyewear stores by late 2012. Be sure to keep you eyes out for the collection.

Designer Eyeglasses

According to a statement made to the press, the Marcolin Group and Tom Ford International will be extending their licensing agreement for the design, production and worldwide distribution of optical frames and sunglasses under the Tom Ford brand. What is exciting about this agreement is that it lasts for 10 years. We are looking forward to the great looking designer eyeglasses that will come from this brand.

It is remarkable to see how quickly Tom Ford has been able to establish his designer eyeglasses brand. While it often takes brands years to build up a reputation, this designer has already been able to make an impact.

Designer Eyeglasses For Asian-Americans

For those interested in eyewear designed in Asia, here is a collection you should not miss.

Created by Prologue Vision, the TC Charton Asian Fit Eyewear collection was designed for Asian-Americans. Collections designed for this demographic are few and far in between. The designer, Alexandra Charton, wanted to create ergonomically designed designer eyeglasses for those who wanted to be current, but who also didn’t want to be victims of mass fashion.

Designer Eyeglasses

Designer Alexandra Charton has built up quite a reputation for herself. She has more than 16 years of extensive optical experience with many leading European eyewear brands, and she clearly has in-depth knowledge of the industry. In addition to this, she has worked for nearly two years on developing the TC Charton collection.

What is neat about this round eyeglasses line is that every shape, detail and color were designed to complement the distinctiveness of Asian features and skin tones.

According to the designer, the majority of eyewear products available today were designed to fit Caucasian features, which are different from those of Asian facial characteristics. Alexandra believes that many Asians have higher cheekbones and lower nose bridges.

Alexandra set out to create a line of designer eyeglasses that Asian-Americans would love to wear. We believe she has done a great job with this. We believe this collection, which was created specifically to suit the style and functional needs of Asian-Americans of all ages, will sell very well.

Similar to other lines targeted towards specific demographics, these designer eyeglasses are not inexpensive. Make sure to keep a look out for these designer eyeglasses at nearby eyewear stores.

New 3D Designer Eyeglasses Launching

If you believe that 3D designer eyeglasses are only a fad, then you may want to think twice. A number of companies have stated plans to launch new 3D collections in the upcoming months.

In fact, one company has been quite bold about its plans. LG Electronics, which is a global brands in consumer electronics, has partnered with eyewear designer Alain Mikli to release premium 3D glasses.

It is not every day that we hear about collaborations such as this. From what we have  been told, management at both companies have built strong relationships with one another.

Designer Eyeglasses

The plans of the expected designer eyeglasses look great. The designer eyeglasses are made from select metals, featuring Mikli’s streamlined design, patented nosepads, and spring-hinged temples with extra long tips. The eyeglasses frames were designed to ensure fit and comfort.

This was not the only exciting news we heard this pass week. Additionally, designer eyeglasses brand Kenmark Group agreed to a licensing partnership with PEI Licensing, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Perry Ellis International, to design and distribute round eyeglasses frames under the sport apparel brand.

This should be a very profitable venture for both brands. The agreement includes ophthalmic frames and ophthalmic and non-ophthalmic sunglasses. It seems like every day we hear more and more news about eyewear brands partnering with one another. It seems to be the only way companies can compete with the resources of brands such as Gucci eyeglasses. Stay tuned for more exciting news from the designer eyeglasses world.

Status Of Designer Eyeglasses Industry

Interested in hearing about how the designer eyeglasses industry is doing? A surprising amount of people are interested as well.

The reason is that sales of designer eyeglasses do not only reflect the industry, but the greater economy as well. When people feel confident about the financial prospectives, they are more likely spend more on items such as designer eyeglasses.

Designer Eyeglasses

We had heard rumors of reports for several months. At first, we had been expecting the designer eyeglasses industry to exceed expectations, however shortly after we heard some bad news about a number of large round eyeglasses brands. The sales of larger brands tend to reflect the general industry.

The reason sales been hurt, as it turned out, was that several companies had to recall their eyeglasses frames. This most have been very difficult for the designer eyeglasses to do. Fortunately the largest brands, Prada and Gucci eyeglasses, were not one of these companies.

Management at both of these companies must have been very pleased. As you can expect, recalls can really damage a company’s prospects. It not only hurts sales, but it can also hurt consumer confidence. If people are worried about their prescription eyeglasses, they are not likely to make a purchase. The good news was that this focused a number of prescription eyeglasses companies. We will let you know more when we hear about these designer eyeglasses recalls.
